The amount of the purchases is deducted from your checking account just as if you had written a check. The transaction is detailed on your monthly bank statement. Your Visa card is now protected by Verified by Visa — it password protects your card for free. The next time you shop at participating online stores, enter the information requested to activate your card in order to complete the transaction. Your card will then have password protection whenever you shop online at participating stores listed at www.visa.com/shopverified.

Call us immediately if you believe your ATM or debit card is lost or stolen or if you believe your PIN (personal identification number) is known to another person. Telephoning the bank is the best way to keep your losses down. Call your local bank during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) to report your loss.
